Found that perfect ride on Kijiji Autos? Here’s how to get it!
1 | Open the ad you're interested in. |
2 | Click Message. |
3 | Type your message into the "Write a Message..." box. |
4 | When you're finished, click the send button (it looks like a paper airplane). |
You should see your message appear in the section above. That means it’s sent! To see all of your open conversations, click on the My Autos menu and select Inbox.
When someone replies to you, you’ll get a notification in your email. If you have the Kijiji Autos app, you can opt-in for phone notifications as well.
To respond:
1 | Click My Autos. |
2 | Select Inbox. |
3 | 3. Click on the conversation you want. You should see the entire history of your messages back and forth. To see more, scroll up. |
4 | Type your message into the "Write a Message..." box. |
5 | When you're finished, click the send button (it looks like a paper airplane). |
Tip:Messages between Kijiji and Kijiji Autos are linked. This means that you can reply to your Kijiji Autos messages when browsing Kijiji for other items.
1 | Click My Autos. |
2 | Select Inbox. |
3 | Click Edit at the top of your message list. |
4 | Select all of the conversations you'd like to remove. |
5 | Click Delete. |
After removing a conversation, it won’t be visible in your Inbox anymore. However, if you still have the email copy, you can reply there and the conversation history will reappear in your Inbox after a new message is sent.
